What is a CIVIL ENGINEER?
CIVIL ENGINEERS are responsible for the design and upkeep of bridges, roads, airports, railways, and water systems.
Civil engineering is one of the largest sectors in the engineering field. You can become a civil engineer with only 4 years of college. However, many people choose to go to 6 years of college and earn a master's degree - because a master's degree will give you more opportunities for employment.
Civil engineers make approximately $70,000 to $100,000 a year.

PART 2 - When you are finished with Part 1, you will be given a new poster numbered like this:
Notice in the second poster, the numbers are in different places. You are required to have some type of intersection. The Hexbug is NOT allowed to go around a number. To make your Hexbug move from number to number, you could build a bridge, a tunnel, or something else you design. The Hexbug must travel from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4, IN THAT ORDER.
*NOTE: You are NOT required to have the Hexbug touch the number, but it must pass over it.

PART 3 - For those who finish early, they will spread their tables 12 inches apart, and create a bridge for the Hex Dragon. Your bridge must allow the dragon to cross without falling. Your bridge must NOT be taped to the table. Good luck.
